Generally, the higher education landscape has become increasingly more complex. Contributing to this complexity are several factors including;
- Cost of education - University education has become increasingly unaffordable, especially for students from underserved minority groups and low income families.
- The number of 18-years old graduating from high schools or secondary schools is falling, as the number of non-traditional students (25 years and above) seeking a college diploma is on the rise.
- And because, historically, non-traditional students are married, single mothers, or employed, or all three combined, they want flexible education at affordable price.
- These challenges have created opportunities for institutions such as OVTEI that can provide flexible curricula, at affordable prices.
- Thus, OVTEI, will provide a solution to these challenges by offering quality education that can a) help students graduate promptly with meaningful credentials, and b) allow students to acquire the skills they need to enter a competitive job market.

The Omorinola Vocational, Technological and Entrepreneurship Institute (OVTEI) is committed to providing a 21st Century skills-based, practical, and hands-on education to students of all nationalities seeking to be competitive in the global job market. OVTEI will provide pedagogy that sets it apart from other institutions through self-paced, well-rounded curriculum and hands-on delivery strategies that emphasize theoretical rigor, industrial training, and cutting-edge technology. Our graduates will immediately secure industrial employment or become private practitioners qualified for national and international certification and licenses in their disciplines.
